Street Rod Nationals 2023 in Louisville: Tickets, location, events

The 54th National Street Road Association's Annual Street Rod Nationals will be back in Louisville Aug. 3-6 at the Kentucky Exposition Center showing off the best street rods in the nation.

Louisville has hosted the group for 29 years, with this year being the 26th consecutive year the city has rolled out the welcome mat.

Mayor Craig Greenberg and other officials will welcome the National Street Rod Association back to Louisville Wednesday at 10 a.m. with a car parade that will leave L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium and make its way to Fourth Street Live! for a press event at 11 a.m. As part of the welcome, approximately 40 vintage cars will parade down Fourth Street.

Here's what else to know about the 54th National Street Road Association's Annual Street Rod Nationals:

Recognized as one of the world’s largest automotive participation events, the Street Rod Nationals attracts more than 30,000 participants with over 10,000 vintage cars on display with everything from muscle cars of the 1960s and 1970s to classic cars of the 1950s and other antique cars.

The parade departs L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium onto Floyd Street; Floyd Street to Central Avenue; Central Avenue to Fourth Street; Fourth Street to Fourth Street Live.

Fourth Street Live will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 2.

The event will also feature a Builders Showcase, where 40 of America's premier car builders will display their vehicles in the lobby of the Expo Center. Additionally, there will be more than 300 manufacturers and dealers of specialty automotive equipment displaying and selling parts, accessories, and supplies in the Expo Center and on the grounds each day of the event.
